"Wanting to get fit, lose weight, tone the waistline and get into a regular exercise routine is easier said than done. There aren't too many people out there who don't aspire to some or all of these goals. For most I think having someone to answer to; knowing that they are expecting you to be there or that they will be turning up to your office at a pre-arranged time, is the crucial 1st step. That's Mike Harrow from PhyZeek PT, the smiling, encouraging, but firm personal trainer.

In about 8, 3 x weekly sessions, one-on-one, Mike has got me started towards achieving some of those goals. So that's about 24 sessions and we didn't do the same set of exercises/routines twice! Great variety, results including increased core strength, reduced waistline measurements = reduced health risk & a better look! Greater energy levels at the end of a working day. For the New Year, I still need that person to answer to, but only once a week. I feel that I now have the routine and discipline to look after some things on my own account......thanks Mike......"

I have attended Boot Camp sessions with PhyZeek since May 2007. The Boot Camp sessions are extremely enjoyable not only because you are working out and having fun, but you get to meet a great bunch of people who don't mind having a bit of a laugh! Our Boot Camp trainer is Mike Harrow, Mike is a genuinely nice guy who will help you obtain your results in any way possible and lets you have a bit of fun while he's working your behind to the ground.

PhyZeek caters for all sorts of fitness levels, from those who are fit and wanting to work out with others to those who haven't exercised recently.

I have found since attending Boot Camp sessions with PhyZeek that I am fitter and now enjoy exercising.

Bottom line - PhyZeek Boot camps are fantastic and I would recommend them to anyone who wants to get fit.

In June 2007 my daughter and I decided to get fit, we approached Mike at PhyZeek to seek his advice and he decided to accept the challenge. Since then we have participated in personal training on a weekly basis and have now advanced to Boot Camp.

Mike has given us inspiration both mentally and physically in our workout routines. His encouragement and energy to push you to your limit is not always appreciated at the time but you leave the session with a sense of achievement.

I have recommended several friends and work colleagues to PhyZeek and it sure is a keen talking point of discussing the Boot Camp and what we hope to achieve from it.

Well, what can I say?

Boot Camp I've been doing Boot Camp with PhyZeek since Mike started in April 2007 and have kept coming back because it's exactly what I want! I particularly like the way we mix sessions between cardio, boxing and strength/circuits across the week, and the way Mike is always able to help you achieve your own 'personal best', and then beat it next time. We're an eclectic bunch, with a wide range of ages and fitness levels (I'm closer to 50 than I care to mention!) and Mike is always able to ensure that no one feels left behind or, alternately, held back because they're fitter than the rest. That takes skill, and Mike excels at it. I can definitely recommend PhyZeek. It must be good to get me to drag myself out of bed to start at 6am in a Canberra's winter morning without complaining (well, only a little bit!)

Personal Training Mike has been my personal trainer since soon after I started Boot Camp. He mixes up my routines so they're always fresh, and I'm now able to things I only ever dreamed of. He encourages me whilst pushing me to exceed the limits that I would otherwise put in front of myself. I can now look in the mirror and not shake with horror - that's the sign of a good trainer!
